I’ve come to the conclusion that I will just need to keep smoking.
The reason for this is the following::
① The stimulant is strong enough to get me on the computer or on my phone about as often as I please. This includes having it in me to play my bass.
Though I’m not particularly fond of smoking cigarettes again (and knowing I’ll not be trying to quit especially because they are so expensive), I can’t see myself in the alternate reality where I remain bedridden for lengthy stays of 18 – 21/22 hours per day.
It’s just not possible for me to do that anymore!
The level of boredom is excrutiating! (I don’t know why WP thinks that’s a misspelled word!)
I don’t know what else I can really talk about here, but I could start with some small updates:
① I have a new friend!
She’s very kind, and she knows I go insane about once per year, so hopefully that’ll help in the future!
② I recently bought a new power supply for my pedals along with four additional pedals (not all in one go).
I actually ended up returning one because I was pretty underwhelmed by what I liked about it. It was the Oceans 11 Reverb from Electro-Harmonix (110 mA).
It did quite a few things, but I just didn’t see myself using any more than two modes. And it was capable of 11?
That would be fitting!
The other of the two I bought is another reverb pedal!
I forget which! Let me check quickly!
‘UAFX Heavenly Plate Reverb’ (250 mA) is what it has written on it.
I like it!
Then, I bought Idiot Box’s Cool Buzz Fuzz (16 mA), and it’s fun!
Then, to replace the Oceans 11 (110 mA), I bought Afterneath from EarthQuaker Devices (65 mA). According to their website however, the full pedal name is ‘Afterneath Enhanced Otherworldly Reverberator’ (65 mA).
It’s so nice because I can bring myself to the bass almost every day since I’m stimulating my brain with that good ol’ nicotine!
③ Since I can hop on my computer about any time I want now, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube and retweeting dolls on Twitter!
Highlights include:
Diesel Creek (for engine systems repair), twoodfrd (for guitar repair), Baumgartner Restoration (for painting restorations), and Charles Berthoud (for bass). Additionally, there has been a recent discovery in the music department:
How’s It Going To Be and Jumper are by Third Eye Blind! I had long known the songs, but never knew which band performed them!
Good stuff!
④ I’ve been streaming a bit of Skyrim on my has_feet channel on Kick. There’ll be some Borderlands, too, but I haven’t felt like playing it lately.
It’s pretty fun, and I think from now on I’ll be adding a background audio track to the backup VoDs that overwhelms the viewer because it’s fun to be annoying!
Yea, and that’s about it!
Hope you had a good read!
Take care of yourself out there.
